Result Of The Trial #001

Trial #001, which started with 1,000 Asias and 196,607 x 8 Subs, ran 14 cycles. Total number of Asia got more than 310,000. I found it takes too much time for one cycle, so I decided re-start with much less Subs so that it won’t be so many Asias and it will be possible to run much more cycles.

And here I’d like to summarize this trial.

Population Trend

Table-1 shows population trend. As you can see the Chart-1, population increased pretty much in an exponential fashion.

Age Distribution

Table-2 and Chart-2 shows age distribution at the cycle of 14.
174 of 1,000 originals survives 14 cycles.

These 174 individuals can be said very strong ones, while younger ones are also stronger enough naturally because they are offspring of stronger ancestors. Thus, at the cycle of 14, there are more younger ones.

Species Distribution

Chart-3 shows species distribution. There are 2,205 species at the cycle of 14. Sorry but it’s too many species to show the table here.

The fact that it started with 1,000 Asias with random default parameters straightly means it started with 1,000 species. That means convergence of species didn’t occur. The most major species has 88,070 individuals, which is almost 28% of all Asias.

The species with more than 100 individuals, let’s call them “majority”, are 110 species. They account for 95.7% of all Asias.(Chart-4)

On the other hand, the species with less than 10 individuals are 1806 species. That shows there are so many types of minorities.
Very very long tail.
The minorities includes 1292 species that include only one individual. They can be considered as “mutant” that was created in mutation by chance.

After this trial #001, it has started with one-sixteenth of Subs, so that I can repeat much more cycles and find something interesting.
