Trial #003 Has Started

Adjusted for experiment

As I have described, I would like to do an experiment in trial #003 in order to investigate how it will be if TheNature starts with very few species. The initial data for this trial are the ones of trial #002 at cycle 271 with 138 creatures and Subs filled up to 12,287 each, which is the same as the initial amount that trial started with as an initial amout.

At cycle 239, there were very few Subs in TheNature like follows;

    • field 0: 0
    • field 1: 7
    • field 2: 5
    • field 3: 3
    • field 4: 3
    • field 5: 13
    • field 6: 6
    • field 7: 2

And total amount of Subs adding the ones all Asias include were;

    • subs 0: 46
    • subs 1: 83
    • subs 2: 86
    • subs 3: 93
    • subs 4: 127
    • subs 5: 63
    • subs 6: 99
    • subs 7: 136

Each amount should be 12,287, so it’s obviously wrong. This is because Subs have been running out TheNature. To correct them in trial #003, I added each Subs one by one, for instance, added Subs 0; 12,287 – 46 = 12,241.

Thus there have got enough Subs in TheNature.

The most interest is how biological diversity will be

At cycle 271 of trial #002, there were only 7 species including 2 mutants;

    •  species 1: 75
    • species 2: 34
    • species 3: 15
    • species 4: 9
    • species 5: 3
    • species 6 (mutant): 1
    • species 7(mutant): 1

This is pretty much species convergence, in other words, the biological diversity has almost ruined.

My interest is whether TheNature can overcome this diversity crash and be restored a rich diversity if it become filled with enough Subs.

Let’s see how it works.
