Trial #005 @ Cycle 500

Finally trial #005 has run 500 cycles. Here I summaries interim results.

Population trend

population Trial #005 @ Cycle 500

Figure 1

Figure 1 shows the population trend at the cycle of 500. You can see some interesting figures on it.

Population decreased to 3,901, less than quarter of initial amount, i.e. 10,000 at the first cycle. All Asias at the start were generated with random parameters, so that makes sense that unadapted species have been culled naturally.

Once the population has decreased to 3,901, it was increasing up to 25,000. This can be considered as population explosion. The survivors, which could adapt to environment, propagated.

And then, the population started decreasing again. This is interesting but I don’t know why. The Subs in TheNature dried up when the population reached maximum, 25,000, and Asias began to adapt to the situation; depletion. The population once decreased to 15,000 and now it is increasing gradually.

Species distribution

sid Trial #005 @ Cycle 500

Figure 2

There are 116 species including mutants. Population of the most major species is 4,952. This is 26% of all Asias in TheNature.

The species with more than 100 individuals, i.e. “majority”, are 9 species. They account for 94.5%.

On the other hand, the species with 10 or less individuals are 84 species. That Shows there are many types of minorities.
The minorities includes 47 species that include only one individual. They can be considered as “mutant” that was created in mutation by chance.

500 is the furthest cycle¬† and it is still running. Let’s keep watching and we’ll get more interesting results.
